Research Description: Ajootian’s areas of research interest include Greek and Roman sculpture, the relationship of the ancient viewer to monuments in the landscape, and iconography. She has published primarily on ancient sculpture in American and international journals. Ajootian is currently working on a large Roman architectural sculpture project in Greece at ancient Corinth. This project involves the reconstruction of several sculptural programs and the identification of their original setting, possibly the so-called Captives Façade at Corinth.
