Research Description: Dr. Audwin Fletcher has a varied background. His primary responsibilities at the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Nursing include teaching in the graduate nursing program. His presentations and research interests include childhood obesity, men's health, chronic illnesses, sexually transmitted infections, HIV/AIDS and access to care in the African-American community. He has devoted his entire nursing career to the care of patients, community outreach and promotion of optimal health in the African-American community.
