Research Description: My interests are on major forces of global change with respect to the environmental, economic, political, and social changes associated with globalization. My background and training is in the discipline of geography, and I am a broadly trained geographer with expertise in many aspects of physical geography, human geography, and geographic techniques. My Ph.D. is in Geography Education, and I have a strong background in education. My position at the University of Mississippi is Associate Professor in the Department of Public Policy Leadership, and I am well-informed about public policy, both domestic and international. I am also Director of the Mississippi Geographic Alliance, a University Consortia that works to improve geography education in the state.
