Research Description: Her research interests include religious and cultural history of the Late Middle Ages, with a special focus on heresy, prophecy, and religious dissent. Her current project is titled Crafting Religious and National Identity: The Use of Prophecy in Late Medieval Germany. In 2008, she received a Fulbright Grant for her research in German manuscript libraries. Her minor field is Medieval Islam.
