Mississippi Student Success Study

Project Description: The Mississippi Student Success (MSS) Study is a research project led by faculty in the Department of Social Work. MSS examines factors that may affect student success, including (but not limited to) substance use, adverse childhood experiences, and sense of belonging and identity. The lab is recruiting individuals to complete a survey which will take approximately 1-1 1/2 hours. Participants will receive a $10 Amazon gift card. You must be 18 years of age or older to participate. Additionally, the lab welcomes volunteer research assistants (undergraduate or graduate) who will help with data collection. For more information on either participating in the survey or joining the lab for data collection, please feel free to contact nlee2@olemiss.edu.

Desired Student Qualifications: Responsible, enthusiastic, and independent students who wish to obtain hands-on research training.

Duties of Student Researcher: Data collection (will require traveling to Desoto and Tupelo campuses--travel expenses covered); attend regular meetings; literature review
