Research Description: The lab interests of Dr. Brooks lie in the identification and characterization of new molecular targets for anti-cancer therapies. While there are several avenues being pursued, the laboratory focuses on transcriptional regulation of various oncogenes through higher order G-quadruplex secondary DNA structures.
